Rev. Kandace V. Simmons is a meditation teacher, spiritual strategist, and interfaith minister who provides unique, holistic and individualized support to help clients connect to their deep well of wisdom within. 

 

She is a graduate of Yale University and is an ordained interfaith minister.  Understanding that all spiritual traditions are of benefit, she leads workshops that enhance creativity, reduce stress, develop inner wisdom and trust, improve relationships, increase mental focus, and ignite passion for spirit, mind, and body wellness as well as joyful living.

 

Although she has been meditating for over 20 years, Rev. Simmons started teaching meditation and mindfulness after watching a documentary on the 1968 Memphis sanitation workers’ strike and seeing the exhaustion of Dr. Martin Luther King.  It inspired her to provide activists with spiritual tools for wellness to support their work for change.  Kandace has led classes and workshops at 1199SEIU, HBO, Viacom, SUNY Empire College, and Project Enterprise.
